Ammonia tank ruptured due to over pressurization during start-up. Large amount of ammonia released forcing all workers evacuate the area.

Aromatic Tower and Naphtha Storage Tank Explosion and Fire

On July 6, 2016, a violent explosion occurred in an aromatic distillation tower at a petrochemical company, sending heavy debris over a wide area. Two naphtha storage tanks at the site were punctured by explosion debris, igniting a fire that burned for several days.
Gas Pipes Moving and Laying Out by Loader
Accident Occurred On: 11/09/2016
On November 9, 2014, a young and inexperienced driver of the loader slipped on the pipes and fell between them as he wanted to throw a belt around the three pipes and move them by loader. He died under pressure from the weight of the pipes.
Gas Explosion in Confined Space (City Gas Manhole)

Three contract employees were fatally injured by gas explosion as they were performing maintenance work inside a city gas manhole. One of the workers was thrown out on the ground and died.
